Review: I recently moved to the Sonoma and so far I like it, the office staff was very nice and really worked with me. They kept me informed every step of the way. It seems to be a very quiet neighborhood. The apartments are super huge and you can't go to many places and find that much space without it being an arm and a leg. I do agree the overall apperance needs a little TLC but not too bad. I would recommend these apartments to anyone who needs lots of space but doesn't have 00 a month to spend on it. Good Place for the Money!!!!

Review: I too am an OSU grad student and have lived very happily at Harvard Square for several years while here studying. I feel like a get a good deal for my money here. My place is not new, my AC has been down a couple times this summer but the guys are prompt about getting it fixed. I think its just old. Anyway, I watched them put in the new pool which is beautiful and because I overlook it, I can tell you all the residents here are really enjoying it now that its done. I looked at the other places in this neighborhood and for my dollars, the prices were higher for less space and the utilities were crazy. I feel like my apartment is nice and well cared for, my requests are dealt with quickly and professionally, and I get a good value for my money. I would and have recommended friends here and have gotten $$ for it. I think its a terrific deal, especially for the area.

Review: The windows are real thin and rattle. Maintenance left our air running after coming in without notice to check it, and did not fix it, sounded like it was going to blow up, and it wasn't cheap. If you don't give 60 days notice they will ruin your life! I even went in and asked if I needed to give 30 days notice and she said no… because it is 60! Now I have to pay 699 for two months and get a refund for the partial month I move out on, so it'll be fun paying for another place, while I wait on my refund.

Review: I have been here several years because it is the best deal, its quiet, and the maintenance guys do the best job. Look around! This place is not new and Raymond and the guys are always so friendly and busting it to get things fixed. They don't always get it the first time because some of this stuff is old but they always show up and are friendly and they get it done. As far as food getting spoiled in your fridge, you might try renters insurance. Good luck getting any landlord to pay for that. My experience is that once you tell the office something, they get it done. Get over yourselves.

Review: I lived in Harvard Square for quite some time and everything was great until a problem occurred in my apartment. The maintenance men fixed the problem, but management did not help pay for Harvard Square’s property malfunction. First, my fridge malfunctioned during a weekend when I was on vacation. I came home to all of my food spoiled. The fridge was replaced with a used fridge the next day, but all of the food was a loss. Management wouldn’t help cover any of the costs. A few months later my gas heater malfunctioned. Maintenance tried to repair it multiple times. Throughout the week of repairs, I had a freon leak that made the entire apartment stink and an electrical space heater was provided by Harvard Square to try to keep warm. After about a week of trying to repair the gas heater, maintenance decided it was best to uninstall the heater and temporarily install an electrical heater while the gas one was being repaired. Once the outrageously high electric bill came, Harvard Square’s management refused to help pay the electric bill and stated they could only reimburse me for the flat rate gas fee I had paid and not used. The combination of these two incidences cost me well over 0. Harvard Square is not a bad place to live as long as there are no problems. Once there are problems with their equipment, you will pay, even if it is not your fault.

Review: I really liked living here, and would move back again. I like it because the complex is hidden off the road. There are not alot of kids here, which makes it nice and quiet. The pool area never has more than a few people at it. A nice place to read a book. I never have a problem finding a parking spot. It is a little dark at night though. At the management office, Mitch and Vanessa are always very helpful and if I have a maintenance issue, they are on it within that day and leave me a note as to what they have done. Yes the place is a little older than some, but it is well kept up. I would definetely recommend this place. I was here from 2006-2009.

Review: We absolutely love it here! Our apartment is spacious with a view of the trees, our neighbors don’t make a peep, and our cat loves to look out the ENORMOUS living space window. The 24 hour fitness center and clubhouse are very nice and we just LOVE the sparkly blue pool!

Sure, there are a few bugs, but the pest control comes every Wednesday, all you have to do is ask for your unit to be sprayed.

There’s almost never a problem finding a parking space, it might not be in front of your building, but there are plenty of spaces. Management asks if you have more than one car to only park one of them right in front of the building, there are spaces just across the lot where you can park your second vehicle.

My only complaint is about my tacky neighbor that takes their dog out to crap and doesn’t pick it up. I pay extra to not look at the parking lot… (I don’t need to look out and see your dogs taking a dump and you leaving it there).

But as far as the apartment goes, it’s great, and management and maintenance are top notch! BRAVO!

Review: Good place to live. Problems: -Walls are well insulated, except for the bathroom. The bathroom walls are very thin and can often hear neighbors through them. -Bugs are a problem. I had several (about 5 in total) wasp nasts outside my apartment, and it took them 3 months to finally clean it up. -The interior cconstruction isn’t so hot, not bad, sans the cabinets that aren’t quite at a right angle (you’d have to see for it to really make sense).

I would recommend it to anyone. I probably made it sound bad, but I’ve had a lost worse problems in apartments. THe landlord Mitch is a really nice guy, he’s helped us with a lot of rent-related problems we’ve run into. It’s a really quiet neighborhood too, which is really rather shocking because Universal is right down the street, and so’s Valencia College.

Anyway, it’s a good place to live.
