Birchtree
5400-6 Portree Place
Raleigh, NC 27606

Review Date: 6/7/2005
Review: I will moving there soon, could anybody tell me how it has recently been; like the people, the community, crime, things to do, ect.

Review Date: 5/18/2005
Review: It’s very noisy around here between about 11pm and 2am. Break -ins, vandalism, drugs and domestic disputes pretty much sum this place up. It got bad enough that for a while, I didn’t go outside to get the mail w/out my gun.

Review: Sucks.

Review: the rental manangement are still ignorant to complaints. The apartments are filled with unwanted pest and unwanted noise at all times of the night. At the momemt am trying to move or fix the numerous problems. The apartments are nice sized, but most of the appliances supplied by the rental management don’t work or work for a short amount of time. Maintenance fixes nothing.

Review Date: 5/21/2004
Review: The apartments themselves are decent, with lots of closets and big rooms. The size of the apartments, however, is overshadowed by the complete incompetence of both the maintenance crew and the office. The turnover rate is so high, that it is rare requests are completed and anyone in the office knows what they are doing. They are impolite and unprofessional with their only excuse being ignorance. The absolute worst place I have ever resided, robberies and bug problems plagued the complex. The only reason I stayed for a year is because of the lease, if there was no lease, I would have moved out 2 months after I moved in.

Pinnacle in Raleigh, NC Aparment Reviews

Pinnacle
5026 edward mill rd
Raleigh, NC 27612

Review Date: 8/27/2009
Review: I have been at The Pinnacle for over 9 years. Here are the facts:
1. Never have had security issues, very safe place to live, most neighbors have large dogs.
2. Lots of parking, well kept parking lots. Cleaned frequently.
3. Quiet quiet quiet, did I mention it's quiet here?
4. Awesome location, everything is close.
5. Office staff: Sarah and Walter are there to help, willing to work with you when you need them, nice and polite.
6. The pool is always clean.
I like living here. I am still living here. No plans to move any time soon.

Review: This place is TERRIBLE. The manager is NEVER there. She is either not on the property or hanging out with her mom who lives there. There are bugs. The price is Sky High for the area. When I went out there and talked to some residents I found out that it takes sometimes 2 weeks to fix a problem. I found out that trees fall on cars of the residents and the pinnicale DOES NOT CARE nor do they PAY for it. They say it's your fault for parking there and they had no idea the trees were dead even though over 50% of them are…

If you like living in conditions worse than a prison…WELCOME to the Pinnacle

Review: I like how the “‘anonymous’ is absurd” person knows how “anonymous” was asked to leave the complex… how many people here who live in an apt. actually know how people are asked to leave becuase certain behavior… can you be sure that that person actually is “anonymous”? I think the Pinnacle management should spend more time fixing up their complex and less time online lying to people.

Review: I use to love my apartment. The location is good. However, several months ago we began getting water leaks/damage- every other week. One in fact was so bad that mold started to grow. After repeatedly contacting the apartment manager Sara,we were told that “it was just condensation”. Particulates began falling down from the vent/ceiling which I became extremely sick from. Work began- Only to have whatever it is I’m allergic to be spread over my apartment. After informing her- she said that she had done all that she could do. And that I must be allergic to my dogs- that it must be my dogs… That I should go to the dr. (I did- and am waiting to go to a specialist.) We then contacted her boss and work began- only to have Sara come over to my apartment and try to “subtly” tell me- there is really no reason for me to go to the allergy specialist- that I must indeed be allergic to my dogs (that I’ve had for 5 years). She ended by saying that I wasn’t “making myself very welcome here. Her boss is doing nothing about this!!! Somehow somewhere along the way, they forgot that they are IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY. I suppose anything goes after they make you sick. We’ve been here for around 4 years (that’s over 30,000 $) to be treated like this…. I’d also like to say that Sara is one of the ugliest people that I have ever encountered – the kind that will lie straight to your face- she is very insincere- fake- but if your ever so unlucky to encounter this- you will see. I also found out from others that- that’s how she handles maintenance issues. Protect yourself- don’t rent from Pinnacle or Draker and Faulk apartments- PEOPLE DO MATTER!!!!

Review: First, the Pinnacle apartments are great. The complex is spacious, wooded and immaculate. Management is extremely attentive to the condition of the apartments and quick to respond to requests. I am unaware of any crime and the management even takes steps to keep non-residents from walking through the place. I would recommend the complex to a friend without any reservations.

Although I don’t have pets, most of thee residents in my building have dogs. Obviously, they are finding the place pet friendly.

As to “Anonymous,” I understand that he was asked to leave the Pinnacle after three weeks because of some “behavior problems,” and that his dog had trashed his apartment. I have never heard of any crime in the complex and have never heard any gunshots. Anonymous is apparently trying to cause trouble for the people who threw him out of the complex.

Avery Close

Raleigh, NC 27606

Review:
Very rude people in the management office. Never care for tenants. Apartment is also very bad. Cockroaches, bedbugs…Oh God !!!
There is a fat lady in the office named Pat. She is a pathetic woman who doesn't know how to behave with tenants.

We cant pay rent online. We cant pay through credit cards. Which bloody millennium are these ppl living in.

Stay away from this place !!!!!!!!

Review Date: 1/28/2008
Review: Stay away. The property management employees are rude and unhelpful. Lights in the apartment frequently burned out (some sort of electrical problem) and only about half of the electrical outlets worked. Also, there was trash all over the common areas.

Review Date: 11/7/2005
Review: Fun place to live. Parking is a bit of a pain and wish it had laundry hookups, but otherwise great! Great neighbors, great friends, apartment big and roommate friendly :-) No crime when I was there – and apartment was well kept. Loved it!

Review: First management are not nice. They smile with mean intention behind. Maintenance do more damage to the property than actually fixing something. A lot of my friends moved out after one year. If you are international students don’t go here. THEY take advantage of you. If you get mistreated. PLEASE report to NCSU legal office. They will definitley help you.

Review: Nothing is, as it ever seems, don’t be fooled by the fake up front courtesy and the bragging about all the work that has been done in the last six months and what’s yet going to be done.
My trailer was stolen, not even a hint of concern on the face of my leaser
or property manager
There is a big brown rain stain that I see every time I go to bed and when I wake up
My bathroom floor is uneven from a water leak
My carpet was promised to be cleaned before moving in and it wasn’t, excuse.. the time frame of the move in was to tight for the cleaning company to get to the cleaning… end result it was vacuumed… later I called maint. to look at the carpet because it was unraveling… nothing was done.
I can go on and on of the disappointments in the last year but then I’m just another renter.
So I went ad bought a home!!!!

Review Date: 3/12/2007
Review: The apartments themselves are great, they are a good size and look decent. However, if you have a car, it’s not worth living here. They will tow in a heartbeat and not care bit. The management is as fake a 3 dollar bill, they make promises that are never kept. It was a safe place to live when we moved in, but as time goes by that has diminished. Rent increase is large if you renew a lease. Don’t make the mistake that we did, for 800 dollars a month buy a house or keep looking.

Review Date: 5/24/2006
Review: Apartment needs were met at the min. I moved across country upon leaving, that is why I broke my lease and they are stiffing me with almost 00.00 thats crazy, as I stated I moved across country not across town! 1200 miles away!

Four Seasons At Umstead Park Apartments in Raleigh, NC Aparment Reviews

Four Seasons At Umstead Park Apartments
8531 Summersweet Lane
Raleigh, NC 27612

Review Date: 6/13/2008
Review: I would have recommended this place a month ago, but definitely not now that there are new managers. Stay away. Everything has changed. Any positive remarks prior to june 08 should probably just be ignored, because we have seen the place go downhill right in front of our eyes.

Review Date: 6/6/2008
Review: This place has really gone down hill, they have hired a new staff and they are the most unresponsive and coldest people imaginable. Hardly any maintenance, pool is nasty, no parking, amenities never are in working order and no one gives a damn. Nasty people and nasty place, would never recommend to anyone.

Review Date: 1/16/2006
Review: ITS A GOOD “MOVE OUT ON YOUR OWN FIRST” IM 21 AND THE FIRST TIME IVE BEEN AWAY FROM HOME. ITS A DECENT PLACE TO START OUT.

Review Date: 1/8/2006
Review: broken bottles left on the sidewalk for over three weeks. used condom in the middle of the parking lot. overflowing garbage. office staff runs the place like a personal club house. will not rent from here again.

Review Date: 9/3/2005
Review: I moved in about two months ago and I just love it here. My apartement itself is very unique, and spacious. Everyone is impressed when they visit! The usual things that go along with apartment living, such as hearing people go up and down the stairs and the occassional noisy child playing outside, happen infrequently. The work out room is small but well-equipped. I’m not a big swimmer, so I stay away from the pool, it’s a little on the small side anyway and I don’t really like to be around all the kids. All in all though, I feel very comfortable here and really love it so far! One last thing-I do have what is termed an “aggressive” breed dog, and she was welcomed here, which was a huge relief for me…this is THE most pet friendly place I’ve lived so far.
