Review: We recently moved into the Portofino Villas from CA. Relocating was a difficult chore and their management team made the transition super easy for us. The unit is wonderful and the property is just beautiful. Maintenance was also very helpful. We have had no issues to with noise and feel perfectly safe here. We have no issues with parking either. We are very happy here!

Review: This place was horrible. There was never enough parking, and people would constantly park in my “assigned” parking spot. When I would complain all management would do is put a orange sticker on their car, I had to call the tow company myself. It was scarey at night, I didn’t feel safe walking from my car to the apartment, especially when I had to park on the other side of the complex (it’s a pretty big complex). Management was rude and LIED to us on several different occassions. When we complained about one of the lies they put a 10 day pay rent or quit notice on our door on the 2nd of the month (rent is not late until after the 3rd). When we complained about that threat, they hit us with a 0 fine for an incident they originally said was OK, but of course that was a lie. So if you decide this is the place for you, make sure to get EVERYTHING they say in writing, might even help to take a tape recorder when you go to the office. And dont leave valuables out, they like to enter your apartment whenever they feel like it. Good luck!

Review: My care was broken into 3 times and stolen while the security guard was supposed to be on duty-but had left early. The neighbors tires got slashed a couple of times also.

Review: First they refused to let us see the apt. before we moved in, instead showing us the model. then when we showed up with our u-haul ready to move in, and actually got to see the apt. it was over run with roaches. Maintainance fixes nothing on time. The fuses kept blowing, the noise is horrendous, no privacy at all, no parking. Rude and disrespectful management. They fix nothing and write you up if you complain and threaten eviction. the outside is pretty but once you get in it is nothing but problems.

Review: This development sells itself as a condominium development. I doubt that there is much difference between a condo and an apartment, but who knows.

Positive – Nice size apartments, nice grounds, very strict community rules that minimize trouble on the property.

Negative – Office staff is very nice when you show up to rent, but afterwards they don’t remember who you are. The manager is nice, but the rest of the staff are basically jerks. Maintenance is not so hot, takes longer then any place I have every lived to get something fixed. In all fairness to the maintenance guy, he is the only one on this large property so I guess it’s not really his fault. Finally, the rent is very high here, nearly 0 for a one bedroom. I moved because I could buy a house for not much more than I was paying for rent.

Review: I have lived here for almost a year and it far and away the nicest apartment and nicest complex I have ever lived in. When I first moved to Las Vegas I lived down the street in another complex and being at San Croix is like night and day. The apartments, they are actually built to condo specs, are upgraded with many extras and lots of storage space. The complex is kept spotless and the staff is very helpful and willing to take care of the residents. The location is wonderful, in a quiet residential area, but very close to shopping and Desert Breeze Park. I would tell anyone who would like a quiet, quality home to check out San Croix!

Review: My husband and I moved in about 3 months ago, we absolutely love it here. The staff was friendly and helpful with our relocation to Las Vegas. In the evenings we walk around Desert Breeze park,return to our beautiful home where we sit on the patio and watch the sunset over the mountains. We are in a large two bedroom, it has alot of storage as well as a large workable kitchen. We’ve had guests visit from out of town and couldn’t accomodate them all, but the community has a corporate apartment that we were able to rent and keep everyone together! We are very impressed with San Croix. Thanks!
