Review: I have asked more than 5 times for my mirror closets to be fixed and the rails they slide on. They won’t. Period.

I have asked for refrigerator light bulbs – Nope! They will not fix one thing in your place unless it is a toilet.

Review: Don’t even think about living here, seriously. If you have any interest, just consider the BBB knows this complex, and NOT in a good way (see www.bbb.org). I lived here from 2002-2003. I, and many other people, feel victimized by the people running this dumpy apartment complex. It used to be a nice apartment complex in the late 1990’s, but has swiftly gone downhill since. After having all sorts of issues (maintenance & safety) that weren’t addressed, I moved out only to involve my attorney, Kansas City code enforcement, and the BBB. The way the management runs this place is not simply incompetent, but criminal.

Review: All the bad reviews are correct – goes from bad to worst. They have dropped the rent so low is like a ghetto moving in and no maintainence – like a revolving door with management, owners, and staff – here today and gone tomorrow. Two new owners since Jan. 2005. The safety has dropped way down – with no sidewalks and no street lights and cars are being broken-in to. Can’t wait for my lease runs out and I am out of here.

Review: Sean the “Property Manager” is a joke. Never in and or avail. Office staff is ever changing! Can’t seem to keep anyone that is decent around! I wonder why?? Grounds are in horrible shape, and pool is hardly open in the summer months, due to unruly condtions. Now to the apts themselves, wow… Where do I even begin! Basically, old, run down and not up to par at all! Carpet, paint, washer/dryers are all in bad shape. Needs a total overhaul! This place is no where to live and feel safe, let alone to call “home”. Safe your $ and time!

Review: What started out to be an okay place turned into a nightmare. The management is uncooperative, rude, and incompetent. Apparently, the manager is on a power trip. You will find maintenance is non-existent. If you call the manager for anything, he will never return your calls nor will he respond to notes. The ONLY time you will hear from them is when they THINK you are late on payment, whether you are or not. They will plaster nastygrams to your door for the world to see. Doesn’t matter that you always pay on time. Their accounting is awful. Oh and beware, when you move out…. look out. They will suddenly ‘lose’ your last check and then they will fabricate charges to keep your deposit. Again, doesn’t matter that the check cleared the bank on time. This complex has serious management issues. The manager gave the whole complex a couple of days notice before deciding to repave the whole parking lot. Over 30 cars were towed at the owners expense to the tune of 300.00 a car. Some of these people were out of town and had to hire a lawyer to get their car back. The carpets need replacing, the appliances (especially the dryers) need replacing. Things I reported from move in were never fixed. Yet, trust me, they will find things to charge you for when you move out. Oh and if you happen to move out early and have your utilities shut off….guess what? The complex will happily bill you for utilities that you never used nor were in your name. Oh and one more thing, be aware that there is a Windrose Court and a Windrose Drive…identical apartment numbers and addresss..with only difference being one is on Court and one is on Drive. My mail delivery was a nightmare. This place left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend getting into this place at all. The only thing they had going for it was allowing large pets. Unfortunately, I have heard that they raised the pet deposit to a ridiculous amount. By the time I left there, I felt I was in a bad dream that was never going to end.
