White Springs Crossing
7942 Belridge Rd
Baltimore, MD 21236

Review: This place is awfull. The office personel changes every two weeks. They either do not know what they are doing or play games with the tenants. And they are rude to the fullest extent. And, the worst maintenance ever. You will regret living here. Personally, cann't wait to move out of here.

Review Date: 4/26/2010
Review: I recently moved into White Springs has for me it has been a great experience. The office staff does take care of any issues pretty fast compared to my previous communities. The property is nicely manicured, trash gets a little high but they pick up regularly, and they even have the pet waste bags out for you to use. Would definatly recommend.

Review: This place has given me hell since the moment my boyfriend and I signed the papers. We move in to find the oven that we stated wasn't working during the showing was still not replaced. It took them two weeks to get the new stove replaced. The complex just put in "energy efficient" windows, but left the bathroom window sill torn out. A bat ended up getting in the apartment. When we call the rental office, no one ever answers. I am still to this day trying to get a hold of them, so I can break my lease. I work two jobs and they are closed by the time I get off of work. I just cant wait to be out of this apartment!

Review: This place is a total crap! The office staff never answer their phones. Our apartment had so many mice in our apartments that my husband and I had to buy so many traps to put in every corner of our home. When something breaks in your home they never come to fix it and when they actually come they leave the job uncompleted and they say they would come back but they never do. They appliances are old and not updated. We couldn't wait to move out and we thank God that our lease is up and we can't wait to get out of this junk.

Review Date: 2/19/2009
Review: This place is great for teenage delinquents. Their parents don't let them smoke in their apartments or they are under house arrest and cannot go outside so they smoke in the stairwells and invite their friends. The doors do not seal completely so all the smoke comes into the apartments! We can't even stand to sit in our own living room and the office will not return a phone call.
TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE AND CLASS OF PEOPLE.

Garden Village in Baltimore, MD Aparment Reviews

Garden Village
5204 Radekee Blvd
Baltimore, MD 21206

Review Date: 6/18/2007
Review: I would only suggest this apartment complex to someone if it was their first time renting and they did not have alot of options. I live on the third floor and I can attest to having rodents in the attic making all kinds of noise. The neighbors are loud; very loud. People smoke marijuana daily. The police don’t care and neither does the office. Something is always broken and when maitance comes they never fix it properly. I can’t wait to get out of here!

Review: I cant believe I owe 5 more months. It is the worst apartment because of all the rats they have. You have to pay to get rid of them and they still wont disappear. I lived there for 5 months and I have seen more than 10 big rats in my kitchen. The crime is ok or reasonable, but its still not quite enough. I hate it

Review Date: 1/31/2006
Review: Out of all the apartments I have rented I can honestly say that this was the absolute worst. You can fully expect that your apartment will have a major mouse infestation. If you live in a 3rd floor apartment there are animals in the attic that you can hear clawing above your head at all hours. I was frequently awoken in the early morning hours by other residents bumping their base so loud that it would rattle stuff on my bathroom sink. Calling the rental office with a complaint is a complete waste of time. Also, I had problems with the landlord entering my apartment to perform “inspections” without giving me the proper notice.

As far as safety goes, this is definitely not a safe place to live.

Loch Raven Village Apartments in Baltimore, MD Aparment Reviews

Loch Raven Village Apartments
1711 Edgewood Rd A-T
Baltimore, MD 21234

Review Date: 3/10/2009
Review: This place has got to be the worst place to live ever. Aside from the roaches, there are mice infested in the place. It is seriously disgusting. Not a night goes by that I do not see a mouse running across my floor. We keep the apartment clean, the mice do not come for food, they obviously live here. The leasing office sends an "exterminator" once a week if you call and request it, every week, who walks around with some spray for 3 seconds and gives you sticky traps so you get to catch the mice only to watch them break free of the "trap" and run back into their hiding spots. ON TOP OF THAT, i walk out to go to work one morning and find my car GONE because loch raven thought it would be a good idea to tow it because the emissions test sticker had not been renewed. THis place is horrible. Maintenance comes over whenever they please and never do what they are supposed to do. Their are mouse holes everywhere that remain unfixed, even after seven months of living here. I cannot wait for my lease to be up in August. I wanted to move out the week I moved in.

Review: DON’t EVER live here!

Review Date: 5/18/2005
Review: I have been living her for years. when i moved in i had problems with a neighbor and told management if they didn’t care of the problem i would move. the management had him out within the month! It’s an old community that does not have alot of ammenities. I have enjoyed my time here. The Management and Mainteinance are very nice and helpful. It might take me 48 hrs. to get something fixed but they always come out with a smile and complete there project in a timely manner. Overall it’s a nice place to live if you go in knowing it’s an older place with out frills.

Review: I have been living in this complex for almost 3 years now. When I moved in, it was a cheap place where you got what you paid for. It was good for young people and students. In addition, the manager was handy and ready to fix your problems. In the last one and half years, everything has got worse. First of all the prices have increased bringing the rent to the levels of other apartment complexes around that provide higher quality and are better located. Then, the management has demonstrated to be more interested in getting as much money as possible from the renters than to provide good services and a pleasant environment. The management has been fast in renting apartments to people that have no respect for thier nieghobours, for the property they live in and even less for igienic rules. When asked to intervene, the manager refused or, even worse, ignored the complaints. In my apartments, I have had mice and roaches and I had to get rid of them myself. I could go on telling other similar stories but the bottom line is that if I could move out easily I would do it tomorrow

Review Date: 6/11/2009
Review: over all i really liked the place. the staff are friendly and dont mind helping you. the townhome was in good condition. the maintences men are good at fixing things on time. i lived at 508 yale for almost 2 years from april 07 to nov 08. never seen one mice. did have waterbugs in the basement during the summer (not a lot. no roaches.not noisey at all, friendly small kids around. could use better paint.

Review Date: 6/2/2009
Review: I have been in this place since the beginning of the year and I can not even tell you how many times I have called the rental office about the mice, the HUGE cockroaches, and all these GHETTO maintainace men who do not have no experience on fixing something properly. And the neighbor is the WORSE!! No respect for me she has sex all night and during the day she beating the hell out her son and the list goes on and on. My suggestion to you is if you like living in a GHETTO, INEXPENSIVE place College Gardens is the place for you.

Review Date: 2/7/2009
Review: STAFF ARE FRIENDLY. NEIGHBORHOOD IS QUIET! EVERYTHING WORKS. NO COMPLAINTS

Review Date: 11/10/2005
Review: This is the worst place I ever lived in. I hope you are reading this review before signing the lease. Maybe you can consider it if you like waking up all night. The mice make sure you do. Maintainance is a horror dream. It is easier to make the sun rise fom the west, than have them fix something properly.

Review Date: 11/2/2005
Review: Parking is great, and thats all thats great. You can hear the neighbors conversations clearly, the walls are very thin. If you like pet, you will have them (mice). The area have under cover cops everywhere harrassing you. I do not recommend this community at all.

Twin Ridge in Baltimore, MD Aparment Reviews

Twin Ridge
rambling ridge lane
Baltimore, MD 21209

Review Date: 8/22/2007
Review: this is the most horrible maintenance ive ever experienced, half the time they dont even put a ticket in for the call that you would make, been here for awhile now, things havent gotten any better, seriously unless you are a fix it yourself type person, DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

Review Date: 3/31/2007
Review: Unresponsive, unknowledgeable, unprofessional office staff. Dog poop all over the grounds. People dumpster-dive regularly here. Party central. My neighbors infested the entire building with cockroaches and instead of treating the problem appropriately, the maintenance staff did a halfway job that took over 6 months to kill the bugs! Same neighbors were threatening other tenants and office staff yet were never evicted. Noone should be afraid to go home, especially when you pay 00/month!

Review Date: 8/7/2006
Review: I loved living at Twin Ridge apartments and encourage anyone else to live here. It was a great experience

Review Date: 2/21/2006
Review: Lived here two years. Fairly quiet at first (except that you can hear I-83 at all times, but especially on your balcony). After a year, new neighbors cranked the music EVERY night. Lots of dogs, it’s true, but i’ve never noticed excessive barking. Living room and first bedroom in the large two bedroom is huge, but second bedroom is tiny. Proportions seem to be off. The balcony is very large, but because of balcony, living room seems to never have any light, even at midday. Never had any maintenance problems that were not fixed the next day. (minor problems, such as an outlet losing power) Pool and fitness center are VERY nice. A good community feel.

Review: AWFUL, DO NOT RENT!!! UNSAFE, UNPROFESSIONAL, NON-RESPONSIVE TO RESIDENTS! STAY AWAY!

The Marylander in Baltimore, MD Aparment Reviews

Tuesday, June 29, 2010

The Marylander
3501 St. Paul Street
Baltimore, MD 21218

Review Date: 1/6/2009
Review: In the management office, there are the rudest people you can imagine in the planet. Of course, they were sincerely nice before you sign the lease. They talked bullshit and lied to you without any sense of guilty. All they want is money.

Review Date: 9/4/2008
Review: avoid if you can

Review Date: 2/7/2007
Review: I am sitting in a dark apartment right now, writing this review on battery power because the Marylander power keeps on shutting off. This building is so old that once the temperatures drop and people switch on their heaters, the poor electrical wiring cannot keep up with the load, plunging my side of the floor into darkness.

The rest of the time, the place is alright to live in. Hallways are clean and well-lit now after the renovations. Most of the staff are very helpful. Some are frustrating to deal with(Santa Claus, I’m talking to you!). Rent is quite high for the living conditions but the building is close to Johns Hopkins Homewood campus.

If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t choose to live in the Marylander. Neither should you.

Review Date: 7/12/2006
Review: Well I moved into the Marylander because it was close to JHU so I thought that I had found my great apartment. Well I was so wrong when I worked into the apartment there was dead roaches on my kitchen floor. And then in the bathroom there was no toilet seat and a water stain on the ceiling. But I said that they just forgot the toilet seat. I was told at the office that they had pest people in there on Wednesday. So I ask why then did someone clean up the roaches. They just looked at me like I had three heads. But then the nightmare started with the smell of rotten garbage in the trash rooms. And when you get off the elevators the smell with make you sick. The hallways are dirty and then are badly in need of repair. The apartment that I rented needed to have a new floor because the tiles on the floor was old dark dirty brown tiles. And I was told from the property manager that it would be fixed. But it was never done. The biggest reason why I moved out of the Marylander was that my apartment rent went up with my first renewal and I was going to be paying over 0 a month just for the rent plus the parking of that was a total of 5 a month. I spoke with the management and it was well if you don’t want to pay it then I guess you will be moving that is how I felt after leaving there office. Then I called the Morgan Corporate office and was passed from one person to another and the finnally I gave up. The building has a roaches and mice problem the mice run around in the lower level and the roaches dance up the walls. The building is old and is in need of a big repair. Also while I lived there was 10 thefts in the building 3 of them happen to friends of mind. And it was always from someone with a key. One of my friends had over 00 worth of stuff taken and the management ask him did he have renters insurance. I couldn’t waited till I move out of that hell hole. So if you want a nice apartment do not go to The Marylander. The only best thing about my stay at The Marylander was Darlene & Lenny they was the best.

Review Date: 4/29/2006
Review: This apartment was by far the worst place I’d ever lived. In fact, it was among the worst places I could’ve even envisioned. It turns out after about 3 months in the apartment, the apartment was rat infested. We’re not talking one sighting, we’re talking mice in the middle of my apartment running around three at a time. I’m not even a messy guy. In fact, I was hardly ever there and almost never had any food there. I was right next to the famed ‘trash chute’ and freight elevator which the Marylander hardly ever cleans. When I reported the problem, they did nothing to help short of saying it was my fault. I tried to have pest control come in and fix it out of my own pocket, but in a 14 story building pest control can’t do anything. I called the health department who came to inspect, but since I’d already moved out there was nothing they could do. Worst Place Ever. Also their building manager is useless, stupid, and generally counterproductive.
