Review: This apartment complex is located deep in the heart of the ghetto of south austin. You can look out your window and see teenagers running from cops every other day. Next up is the hot water which some how is all connected together as one line, so if someone fucks up everyone loses hot water, which happens quite frequently. There is also some homeless lady or man (I can’t tell) who lives right outside. The wood in the apartments is warped the AC is crap and the maintenance team is stupid. The management of this place is about as smart as a 5 year old and they take no initiative to take care of their clients. No returned calls. There definatly seems to be a breakdown in the line of communication. My Gf and I tried to move in to a bigger aparment in the same spot and they promised us a move in date, but when the day came the apartment wasn’t ready and they told us no. All of our stuff was in boxes, our bills transferred and adresses changed. They told us to move in on another set day and they would definatly have the apartment ready on that day. That day came and they claimed we could not move in till a certain time. The hottest time of the day. Please for the love of god donlt ever live here.

Review: I’ve been living in this hellhole for over 2 years now, and I can guarantee you it is NOT WORTH IT!! The management has changed at least 3 times since I’ve been here. NONE of them have been helpful, especially Vera Uribe, who is the current assistant mgr! She is annoying, rude, and will overcharge you! She is obviously NOT an accountant nor does she have any accounting skills. I highly recommend looking at all bills that are sent to you before you pay anything! The apt I moved into didn’t change out the carpet, like most new tenants would have done. Instead, they just shampoo’d it several times to get the stains out. To this day, you can still see the track stains even though they have shampoo’d it. The dishwasher was outdated and not even working when I moved in. I had to complain several times before they replaced it. The water issues with the shower are numerous! I’ve filed over 15 maint requests/complaints since I’ve lived here. If I was taking a shower and the neighbor below me did as well, then my water pressure would go to nothing and the temperature would go to scorching hot! Recently, the complex changed out the boiler system, since each apt is rigged to it. If that goes out, you’re screwed! The apt below mine complained also of water leaking from my complex to hers. Turned out that the kitchen sink plumbing is somehow attached to the A/C, and it got clogged up. Maint had to cut a hole in the wall in the bedroom. Then they brought in a humidifier and fans, all noisy as hell to dry it out. There is STILL what seems to look like mold around the floorboard near the carpet! Maint is a joke! Management is a joke! Gated community is a joke! The gates have NEVER worked properly since I’ve lived here. The apt management/staff is too involved with renovating the apts and updating the crappy landscaping to even care about their tenants! There have been cars broken into. No insulation whatsoever! You can see the beams and cracks in the walls, if you live in one place long enough! I can go on and on, but if you haven’t figured out by now that this is a SHITHOLE, then I don’t know what to tell ya other than… DON’T EVEN BOTHER stopping! Ain’t no “club” about this place!! and one other thing…. pool was closed throughout the summer for remodeling. How convenient! THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!

Review: I moved into summer valley in June of 2007. The staff was great and besides my apartment being small there were no problems. Fast-forward to now…the office staff has changed multiple times and they are currently RUDE, no pool most of the summer, a broken gate and nowhere to walk my dog, way-too-hot water and a super-crappy stove. Just recently I dropped my rent check in the overnight box and a week later had a note on my door saying I had not paid rent!! I went to the office and told them I had never paid rent late before why would I start now and Vera Uribe got extremely rude with me and said they had no way to prove I had turned in my check. They were going to charge me for their mistake unless I paid for a stop-payment. I paid the stop-payment to prove I knew I paid my rent. Then a couple of days later there was a note saying they were discontinuing the drop box…coincidence? She said it was because money orders were being stolen from another one of their complexes. If someone can steal money orders can’t they also steal a check?

Review: Wow where do I start. things got off to a good start but quickly went down hill. Staff when we moved in were awesome. Staff now could use an attitude adjustment or just make them live in one of the units they rent out! Seriously, This place SUCKS! NO SECURITY GATE for over 9 months because it’s called an AMENITY. I guess that means it doesn’t actually have to work. I’ll now list the rest of the things wrong with this place!
- No Gate
- Pool closed for over a month in JUNE!
- hot toilet water
- No hot shower water (often goes out)
- lights out all over the complex
- 2 laundry rooms advertised. Only one works and half the stuff is missing or broken due to vandals.
- HUGE speed bumps I mean ridiculous
- unnecessary land scaping
- Insulation issues around windows and doors
- Storage closet on the patio is full of bees due to insulation issues
- CRAPPY office staff. that DOES NOT care!
- They advertise referral incentives but don’t follow through
- Advertise they have night patrol. THEY don’t!
Seriously don’t pay a cent to this place! They are ridiculous when it comes to even talking to the office staff. I’m SOOOOO glad I’m moving out of here.
Watch your bills too they try to slip stuff in that’s not true!

Review: Apartment complex is a gated community, gate has not worked in over 6 months. The swimming pool is has been out for last two months. Management does not return calls and maintenance problems are not fixed.
